You need to keep in mind: the minimum legal time for advising the celebrant of the marriage, is one month and one day before the event is to take place.
All the documents must be signed and dated then. They can be completed earlier, but not more than 18 months. And you don’t have to come to my office, I’ll come to your home or the venue you choose.
With regard to my fee, it would depend on whether there were any special requirements, and the exact location of the venue, (travelling costs may apply in some cases), but my charges are competitive and you don’t have to pay the full fee at once. I request a deposit/booking fee to confirm the booking and the balance is paid one month before the ceremony.
There are no hidden extras. The fee covers a visit with you to complete the legal documentation and plan the ceremony; designing the service, a rehearsal if required; and as many phone calls and e-mails as necessary as well as conducting the ceremony on the day, submitting the paper work to relevant authority and providing you with a bound copy.
